Grandma's the COOLEST!

Spencer's mom invited the boys to a Slippin' Slide event at The Scera Shell Theater Saturday morning; the event was held on the HUGE grassy hill for all The Scera volunteers to attend... You're probably asking yourself "Well then, if the boys went to the event, does that mean they're Scera volunteers???".  The obvious answer to that question is "NO".  They're much too young, but of course if they were older, oh say 13, and we lived a little closer to The Scera, you better bet they'd be volunteering there... It's THE. BEST. DANG. MOVIE THEATER AND STAGE PRODUCTION PLACE IN ALL OF UTAH COUNTY!  (don't know what The Scera is, click here to learn about it)... No, my boys were just invited because Linda, my mother in law, manages The Scera; the boys actually call The Scera, "Grandma's movie theater"... she's extremely thoughtful and always thinks to invite us whenever something cool is going on there--- in this case it was the slippin' slide event.

Now, perhaps you remember these  slippin' slide pictures I posted from the  4TH of July--- the boys had fun then, but it was a much smaller slippin' Slide we used then than the one they rode on Saturday... the slippin' slide that the boys rode down Saturday was probably 10x longer and MUCH MUCH FASTER!  It started at the top of the hill and went all the way down to the bottom of the hill, ending at the foot of the stage... they even had to place a few thick stunt mats in front of the stage to cushion any collisions.

Needless to say, the boys TOTALLY had a blast sliding down the hill and they're even more convinced now than ever before that Grandma C. is the COOLEST grandma ever!
