Noah's first day @ preschool...

Noah's 1ST day of preschool was a little over a month ago... He started school on Thursday August 20TH (exactly one week after I had the baby). He attends Learning Dynamics Preschool in Orem. He goes to school twice a week, Tuesday's and Thursday's, in the afternoon for 2 1/2 hours... just enough time to allow me to run errands around town, do some shopping, or play at the park with our other boys. He LOVES school and LOVES learning! There are a lot of other little kids in the preschool, but his actual class only has 12 students. His cousin Daniel is in the same class, and his other cousin, Bella, is just across the hall in another class. It's been nice having his cousins go to the same preschool because occasionally we'll carpool with them.

This picture was taken outside of Noah's preschool on his 1ST day of school.
Ian thought it was his first day of school too...
give it another year and he'll be ready.

I LOVE this picture of the boys, particularly Ian...
Check out how he's standing with his hand in his pocket...
sometimes we forget he's only two and mistaken him for a grown up.
Always so serious!

Noah's teacher is Ms. Stewart.
She is extremely kind and patient with the children, as well as an excellent teacher.
The kids are learning to recognize
colors and LeTtErS from the alphabet;
how to read and write their first and last names;
(which as a funny sidenote, Noah tells folks our last name is Camel, like the animal)
how to write the letters of the alphabet;
rhymes and simple reading skills.
Noah still has two years before he is eligible to begin Kindergarten
(children in Utah must be 5 years old before the 1ST of September to begin Kindergarten,
Noah misses the cutoff date by just less than 3 weeks),

so he will repeat preschool again next year,
but subsequently learn to read more proficiently.

Noah was all SMILES after his first day of class
and couldn't wait to show me what he made in class in that day!

I took this picture of the kids just after school let out.
Each day of class, the kids are asked to bring something for "show & tell".
Noah chose to bring his harmonica the first day of class;
he even played it for his classmates.
(He's got some really MAD harmonica skills; I mean he really knows how to rock out on it).
The 2ND day of school, Noah took in his guitar for "show & tell".
I'll bet you the kids in his class think he's some sort of Rock Star
after that 2ND day of "show & tell".

It's definitely the hair.
And the harmonica.

Can a girl resist a guy who looks good AND who has rockin' musician skills??

Nope!
:)

Yay for Noah & pre-school!!
